Telos places a heavy emphasis on professional development and pedagogy. All staff undergo training prior to the beginning of the academic year and then throughout the year in monthly trainings. Each educator is formally reviewed twice a year and sets goals for learning and achievement. The Head of School also meets with each educator to set a Professional Development Plan in place that has extended goals and a one-to-five-year strategy.

The underlying understanding that as educators we are always learning and have never “arrived” to know all there is to know, is the common thread throughout Telos. We are hungry to learn more and are always looking to better our art. We do so through training, practice, and attending conferences each year.
